This is a magnetic mount GPS active antenna, designed to be stuck to the top of a car roof, or onto any other metalic surface. The antenna is powered by a 3v supply through the SMA connector, but can also be used as a passive antenna if no power is supplied.
The SMA connector is gold with a rotating nut, and male pin inside.
This unit will mate directly to (for example) the Venus GPS module.
