This is a 1.5m long cable with a full size USB A plug on one end and a micro plug on the other.

The micro format comes in addition to the full size and mini formats. It's smaller (as per the name) than any other USB connector so far and has an asynchronous insertion force - basically, it's easier to push into the socket than pull out. This makes is mechanically very secure, and stops accidental disconnections - perfect for equipment which needs charging.
