Voltage Regulator - 5V

This is a basic voltage regulator in a TO-220 package. It's perfect for reducing up to 35v down to a stable 5v supply with a very small number of external components. It employs internal current limiting, thermal shutdown and safe area protection, making it essentially indestructible. If adequate heat sinking is provided, it can deliver over 1A output current.
